Musical Salon

Traditionally the Musical Salon of the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart is always held on the Thursday before a season concert. As an entertaining and sociable event for curious minds with an interest in an open discussion, the Salon focusses on the intellectual, programmatic, theological or practical performing background of each concert: staff from the Bachakademie debate with scholars, performers, creative artists and other interesting speakers. As is usual in a Salon, there’s something to drink during this, and after the conversation there is the opportunity for further discussion in a relaxed atmosphere
